  8. For best performance, you should move the following files to your System Folder:
  9. * Claris Folder - move this into your system folder
  10. * XTND Power Enabler - this goes in the Extensions folder

  13. This folder contains "Blue Box Invoices 1.2."    This are
  14. the same files you need regardless whether you are a new user or if you 
  15. are upgrading from a previous version.  If you are upgrading, see the 
  16. document manual for more information and specific steps to 
  17. import your data.  If you are a new user, this folder contains 
  18. everything you need.  If you have FileMaker Pro and wish to use that instead of the 
  19. included runtime engine, you can download a different version of this program
  20. at the above site.

  22. It is recommended that you open and print out the documentation.  It 
  23. is in PDF format which means that you need Adobe Acrobat Reader in 
  24. order to open it.  If you do not have that application, refer to the 
  25. above web site, which will always have current links to the Acrobat 
  26. Reader.

  28. To start the Application, click on "Blue Box Invoices 1.2."  
  29.  
  30. Remember that registered users have the following advantages:

  32. + You will sleep better at night knowing your software is registered.
  33. + You will not get the Registration screen every time you start the program.
  34. + You will be able to turn-off the message printed on each invoice mentioning BBI.

  51. * New "Generate" database allows for unlimited customization of invoice & envelope layout (requires FileMaker Pro & for registered users only)
  52. * New Preview feature allows invoice to be previewed or faxed (additional software required for faxing)
  53. * Also generates pure text (ASCII) invoices
  54. * E-mail text invoices directly to your client
  55. * Generate blank or partially filled invoices for on-site completion
  56. * Item numbers and labor numbers can now be assigned by the user
  57. * Pop-up lists sort by assigned number, not by name
  58. * Tax ID field is displayed at the top of each invoice
  59. * Client address links directly to Yahoo! maps.
  60. * Look at client revenues from a specific year with the "Focus" features
  61. * Pay by Credit Card on a secure server

  76. Generate Extras

  78. "Generate Extras" includes the International Version of the Generate12.BBI file as well 
  79. as the US version which comes standard with the program.  To replace, simply drag the 
  80. new Generate12.bbi over the old one (after you back up the previous version, 
  81. if you want to save it).
